ABOUT US
Vico's Auto Body Shop has been in business since 1971, founded by two brothers, Vico and Albert Cognata who came here from Italy. They have built a thriving auto body business over the years. Located at 312 Arch Street in downtown Norristown, their two garages and parking areas comprise roughly 20,000 square feet. Customers come to them from all over the Montgomery County and Philadelphia areas.

OUR SHOP
Vico's specializes in all types of custom work for all foreign and domestic cars. "We do major surgery," explains Vico in referring to the extensive collision work they handle. "We are equipped to do repairs from a single scratch to replacing the entire frame." They have handled cars considered "totalled" with kid gloves, and have beautifully restored them. The body shop is equipped with state-of-the-art Car-o-liner Frame Straightener for unibody constructed vehicles with computerized measuring system, Millermatic 130 Auto Arc Welder, Elektron M 83-Spot welder to duplicate factory welds. The paint shop has a Wellbuilt Downdraft Spray Booth which applies a factory finish paint job to your car. Vico's uses high quality PPG waterborne and polyurethane paints. The paint shop also has a computerized mixing system to match factory finish. Their custom painting is so professional that a number the their customer's cars have won 1st prize in car shows. Vico's meets the insurance company's requirements for body work and painting. Their team of eight technicians are professionals, most of whom are certified, who all work well together as a team.

OUR OFFICE
Office staff consist of two secretaries, Antoinette & Betty (wives of the owners). They greet customers, as well as assist in filing insurance claims, and arrange for auto rentals when needed. Our office is equipped with computers using CCC Pathways Estimating System.

CUSTOMER'S RIGHTS
You may be aware that there have been significant changes in the auto body repair industry. Out of concern for public awareness, we would like to inform automobile owners of their legal right to choose the auto body shop that they know and trust for the repairs of their vehicle. IT IS THE LAW; and it is in your favor. In the event that your insurance company appraiser would refer you to one of their company approved repair facilities, you should know that FULL coverage of repair costs still apply at whatever facility YOU choose. Remember, it's your vehicle in question.

TITLE 63, CHAPTER 22B
(d) NO APPRAISER OR HIS EMPLOYER SHALL REQUIRE THAT REPAIRS BE MADE IN ANY SPECIFIED REPAIR SHOP.
